The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series represents the latest generation of bidirectional, regenerative electronic loads and has been specially developed for demanding AC and DC applications in laboratories, research facilities and industrial test systems. With its regenerative hardware architecture, it efficiently feeds the energy consumed during the tests back into the grid, thereby reducing both energy consumption and operating costs. With a harmonic grid input (THDi < 3%) and a power factor > 0.98, the series stands for the highest grid quality, efficiency and reliability.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series offers a wide range of applications and is ideal for complex test scenarios in modern power electronics:

Model description: EL+ 100 vAC/DC

The EL+ 100 vAC/DC model is a powerful high-performance test device with a rated output of 100 kW and belongs to the upper performance class of the series. In AC mode, it delivers up to 145 A (three-phase operation), while ±130 A / ±390 A are available in DC mode. This makes it perfect for applications with high current requirements, fast transients and complex test cycles. Like all devices in the series, the EL+ 100 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative - the energy consumed during tests is efficiently fed back into the grid, ensuring sustainable, energy-efficient testing processes. Compared to smaller models such as EL+ 60 or EL+ 80, this model offers a significantly extended power reserve and is ideal for continuous industrial use in R&E test laboratories and Power HiL systems. With dimensions of 870 × 875 × 1320 mm and a weight of approx. 400 kg, it is robustly constructed and designed for continuous operation. The response time of less than 1 ms and a control resolution of 10 mV/10 mA ensure maximum precision and dynamics, even with demanding load changes. Operation is via an integrated 4.3″ touch display or remote control via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Additional options such as battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation functions significantly expand the range of applications and make the EL+ 100 a universal tool for research, development and quality assurance.
