The cDAQ ‑ 9181 is an Ethernet chassis for CompactDAQ that is suitable for compact, distributed sensor measurement systems. It controls the timing, synchronization and data transfer between I / O modules of the C-Series and an external host computer. The chassis can be combined with various I / O modules of the C-series to perform different analog and digital I / O as well as counter / timer measurements. The chassis has four universal 32-bit counters / timers. The counters are accessed via an installed hardware-clocked digital module of the C-series, which enables applications with quadrature encoders, pulse width modulation, event counting, pulse train generation and period or frequency measurements.
