G166000 | PXI-501 MFI ICT/FCT Multifunction Instrument

PXI-based multifunction measuring device and ICT instrument

The PXI-501 is a multifunction measuring device for function and in-circuit measurements.

It combines two parametric measurement units (PMUs) with a digital voltmeter, a high-voltage power source, and a discharge unit. This powerful combination makes it the ideal instrument for classic analog in-circuit test as well as for analysis of manufacturing defects and offers additional functional test functions. With a fast sampling rate of up to 4MSps, this shortens the measurement times and you are able to measure and generate AC signals up to 100kHz.

To expand the measurement capabilities of the PXI-501, it can be combined with an ABex TM-501 or an ABex TM-404. The ABex TM-501 expands the input and output range of the PXI-501. It also adds a shunt current measurement unit to the PXI-501. In combination with the ABex TM-404 it is a complete in-circuit test solution with 86 channels in just one ABex slot. Of course it can be upgraded by adding more matrix modules up to 2838 test points in one rack.

With the above terminal modules, the PXI-501 can also act as an ABex system controller, eliminating the need for an additional controller in the cassis.
