With this option you are optimally equipped to measure USB low (1.5 Mb / s) and full (12 Mb / s) speed applications. In conjunction with this option, the Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) InfiniiVision oscilloscopes of the 4000 X series can be triggered and decoded at USB Low (1.5 Mb / s) and Full (12 Mb / s) speed, making them quick and easy the bus data recorded with the oscilloscope are made visible.
The triggering can also take place on individual frames with an adjustable ID (identification number) and the data can be displayed in a list mode. The decoding of the bus data is hardware-supported with the fastest decoding rate in this oscilloscope class. Due to the high decoding rate, random and sporadic events (e.g. errors) can be visualized quickly and easily in real time. Errors in data packets can be quickly assigned to their origin - as software or hardware errors.
Any channel (analog or digital) of the oscilloscope can be used to acquire the bus data. With counters integrated in the software, a statistical overview of the bus data such as the number of frames, errors, ... is visualized for the user.
The 4000 X oscilloscope series supports simultaneous decoding of two serial buses. Therefore, the data in your list display can be correlated to one another in order to locate errors. With the automatic zoom trigger of the 4000 X series, detected signal anomalies can be displayed very easily - without having to "play" for a long time on the trigger conditions - with a different time scale and without other signal components.
In the new issue of “dataTec unboxed” we present the new InfiniiVision HD3 oscilloscopes from Keysight with 14-bit ADC.
