The GW Instek PEL-5000G series electronic loads have 1 channel and include 9 models with different combinations of power (4kW, 5kW, 6kW), voltage (150V / 600V / 1200V) and current (160A – 600A). With the help of the electronic loads you can check and verify the specifications of batteries as well as chargers and charging stations for electric vehicles precisely and reliably. The loads support parallel connections for the same voltage specifications and different power models. Up to 8 units can be connected in parallel, delivering a maximum power of 48 kW.
To test battery chargers, the PEL-5000G offers four special discharge modes, namely CV+ Current Limit Test Mode, CV+ Power Limit Test Mode, CC Mode and CP Mode.
When testing battery discharge, GW Instek loads have cut-off voltage, discharge time and discharge capacity (Ah) functions in CC and CP modes to meet battery testing requirements.
The PEL-5004G-1200-160 variant presented here has an output of 4 kW, 1,200 V voltage and 160 A current.
