GPT-15004 | HV AC/DC safety analyzer, AC 5 kV / DC 6 kV, insulation, PE test

The GPT-15000 series from GW Instek was developed for demanding safety tests in the electrical and electronics industry. It combines maximum measurement accuracy, comprehensive protection functions and user-friendly operation - ideal for production, quality assurance and research. The devices in this series are based on the latest PWM amplifier technology, which ensures stable high-voltage output with consistent accuracy, even with mains fluctuations or distorted input signals.

All models comply with the international safety standard IEC 61010-2-034 and feature double insulation, visual and audible warning signals and automatic discharge of the test object after each test. The large 7" TFT colour display ensures clear visualization of the measured values and easy navigation.

The devices in the GPT-15000 series are suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly in:

Production and final testing of electrical devices

The GPT-15004 variant presented here is the most powerful model in the GPT-15000 series and combines all essential safety test functions in one device. It enables AC and DC withstand voltage tests, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests and ground bond tests with high test current. It therefore fully covers all test requirements for electrical safety standards and is the ideal solution for complex test environments in series production or product qualification.

Differentiation within the series: Compared to the other models in the GPT-15000 series, the GPT-15004 offers the complete range of test functions. While the GPT-15001 is designed for AC testing, the GPT-15002 for AC/DC testing and the GPT-15003 for insulation resistance testing, the GPT-15004 complements these functions with the powerful ground bond test, making it the flagship of the series.
