Manufacturer number: GPT-15002
The GPT-15000 series from GW Instek stands for precision, safety and reliability in electrical safety testing. It was developed to meet the high demands of modern production and quality assurance processes in the electrical and electronics industry. Thanks to state-of-the-art PWM amplifier technology, the series ensures stable high-voltage output and precise measurement results - regardless of mains fluctuations or signal distortion.
The series complies with the international safety standard IEC 61010-2-034 and offers extensive protection mechanisms, such as double insulation, audible and visual warnings and automatic discharge of the test object after each test. A large, clear 7" color display ensures intuitive operation and clear display of all test results.
The safety analyzers in the GPT-15000 series are versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications:
The GPT-15002 variant presented here is the versatile mid-range model in the series and combines AC and DC voltage withstand testing with precise continuity testing. This makes it ideal for users who need to perform both AC and DC voltage tests - for example on power supply units, transformers or devices with mixed input stages.
Differentiation within the series: In contrast to the GPT-15001 (AC testing only), the GPT-15002 also performs DC withstand voltage tests, extending the test range to devices with DC voltage components. It differs from the GPT-15003 (AC/DC/IR tests) and GPT-15004 (AC/DC/IR/GB tests) in its clear focus on dielectric strength and continuity measurement.
