The AC & DC power supply cabinet GW Instek ASR-6600-30 presented here has an output of up to 30 kVA. The parallel-connected power supply unit is based on the GW Instek ASR-6600. Further parallel-connected variants with 9 / 13.5 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 36 kVA are also available, each based on the ASR-6000 series.
The GW Instek AC&DC ASR-6000 series consists of two models: the ASR-6450 AC/DC with 4.5 kVA and the ASR-6600 AC/DC with 6 kVA. Both devices have a single-phase and three-phase AC input and output as well as a nominal DC output. By using third generation semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) technology, the powerful AC/DC power source achieves a remarkably high power density of up to 6kVA at 4U. The ASR-6000 series is able to emulate various changes in the power supply environment, such as balanced and unbalanced three-phase scenarios, phase failure and multi-channel output in three-phase mode, offering unparalleled flexibility and functionality.
Both models have a 7" TFT display and are equipped with USB, LAN, external and RS-232 interfaces as standard. Optionally, the power supply units are also available with GPIB, CAN bus and DeviceNet interfaces.
