The Extech CO260 is a versatile indoor air quality monitor. It measures both carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) - two important parameters that have a direct impact on health, safety and well-being. In addition, it records temperature, relative humidity and calculated values such as dew point and wet bulb temperature.
The device is ideal for places where reliable air quality control is required: schools, office buildings, industrial plants, greenhouses, hotels, hospitals, machine rooms, storage areas with gas-powered vehicles, boats, airplanes and mobile homes. High CO2 concentrations impair concentration and performance, while elevated CO levels pose a potential health risk - the CO260 provides precise data to detect such conditions at an early stage.
The CO260 has a maintenance-free NDIR CO2 sensor and measures CO up to 1,000 ppm. The large, backlit LCD with real-time clock enables a clear display and manual scrolling of all measured values. The device also calculates time-weighted average values such as TWA (8 hours) and STEL (15 minutes) - particularly important for working environments where limit values need to be monitored.
The CO260 can store measurement data both manually (up to 99 data records) and continuously (up to 32,000 measurement points). All values can be conveniently evaluated on a PC via the USB interface and the software supplied. Functions such as min/max, data hold function, programmable CO alarm and automatic switch-off complete the features.
