The Extech CO250 is a portable measuring device for monitoring indoor air quality. It reliably measures the carbon dioxide concentration and simultaneously records temperature, relative humidity and calculated values such as dew point and wet bulb temperature. This makes it ideal for assessing the indoor climate and evaluating ventilation quality.
The device is particularly useful in schools, offices, greenhouses, hospitals, industrial plants or anywhere where there are many people or sources of CO2. By calculating time-weighted average values (TWA for 8 hours, STEL for 15 minutes), the CO250 also provides support in working environments with safety-relevant limit values.
The integrated, maintenance-free NDIR CO2 sensor provides precise measurements up to 5,000 ppm. The backlit triple LCD displays CO2 values, temperature and humidity simultaneously. A programmable alarm provides a reliable warning as soon as the CO2 limit value is exceeded.
The integrated RS-232 interface allows measurement data to be recorded and documented directly on a PC using the supplied software - ideal for evaluations or long-term monitoring. The handy design and the included carrying case make the CO250 the ideal companion for mobile measurements.
