The programmable DC power supply units in the PVS series, consisting of the PVS10005, PVS60085 and PVS60085MR models, offer clean output power of up to 5.1 kW, excellent regulation and fast response times to load changes. Thanks to their compact 2U design, they can be integrated into rack systems to save space.
This series is suitable for a wide range of applications, including research and development (R&D), design validation, production tests and high-voltage tests. Thanks to the built-in SAS (Solar Array Simulator) function, the MPPT efficiency of solar inverters can also be tested. System integrators benefit from extensive interfaces such as USB, RS232, GPIB and LAN, which enable SCPI-compatible communication.
The PVS60085MR model is a high-performance DC power supply with a maximum output voltage of 600 V and a maximum output current of 8.5 A, which differs from the other models in the series thanks to its multirange function. This enables a flexible combination of voltage and current as long as the maximum output power of 3000 W is not exceeded. This makes the device particularly versatile for a wide range of test and development applications.
Compared to the PVS10005 (1000 V / 5 A / 5000 W) and PVS60085 (600 V / 8.5 A / 5100 W) models, the PVS60085MR is lower in power but offers greater flexibility when setting current and voltage values. This makes it particularly attractive for applications that have variable power requirements.
The PVS60085MR is particularly suitable for applications that require flexible power adjustment, for example for test environments with varying load profiles or for research and development tasks with changing power requirements.
