The 9810 series from B&K Precision includes programmable AC power sources with 500 VA and 1000 VA output power. All models provide an adjustable output voltage of 0 to 300 V with a resolution of 0.1 V and a frequency of 45 Hz to 500 Hz. The power is available both via universal front output terminals and via a rear output.
For complex test sequences, the series offers a powerful list/program mode with up to 50 programs and 9 individually configurable steps per program. In addition, the integrated surge/dropout function, the PLD simulator (Power Line Disturbance) and the dimmer simulation enable realistic simulation of typical mains disturbances such as voltage dips, overvoltages, spikes or phase angle control.
Typical areas of application include testing transformers, TRIACs, SCRs and passive components as well as applications in production, research & development, service and pre-compliance tests. Preliminary tests according to IEC61000-4-11 / 4-14 / 4-28 are supported, among others. Extensive protective functions such as OVP, OCP, OPP and OTP ensure maximum safety for the device under test.
Variant BK9814-220V:
The BK9814-220V is the most powerful 220 V variant in the series and offers a rated output of 1000 VA. It is particularly suitable for applications with higher power requirements, for example when testing larger power supply units, motor controllers or power-hungry assemblies. Despite the higher performance, the operating concept, range of functions and programming options remain identical within the series.
Differences to the BK9812-220V:
Within the 220 V variants, the differences are primarily in the power and current output:
Output voltage range (0-300 V), frequency range (45-500 Hz), resolution as well as programming and simulation functions are identical for both variants.
