The BK4089 from B&K Precision is a powerful 2-in-1 RF signal and waveform generator that combines an RF signal generator with a full-featured AWG/function generator in a compact unit. By combining both functions, the device is ideally suited for demanding applications in research and development, manufacturing, design validation, service, and education.
The integrated RF signal generator produces precise CW signals up to 3 GHz and supports extensive modulation and sweep functions. In addition, the AWG/function generator offers the generation of high-resolution arbitrary signals as well as classic waveforms such as sine, square, triangle/ramp, and pulse waves up to 80 MHz. Thanks to the simultaneous use of RF and AWG outputs, multiple individual devices can be replaced, saving valuable space in the lab.
The high signal quality with low phase noise, low jitter, and 16-bit resolution makes the BK4089 particularly suitable for RF testing, sensor and bus simulation, clock and trigger signal generation, component testing, and the development of complex electronic systems. Convenient operation is provided via a 4.3-inch IPS color display, direct-select keys, a numeric keypad, and a rotary encoder.
