The B&K Precision BCS6401 is a powerful battery simulator, DC power supply and battery charger/discharger specifically designed for test applications with batteries and battery-powered devices. Thanks to its bidirectional capabilities, it can act as a current source or sink and enables comprehensive charging, discharging and simulation processes.
The Variant BCS6401 presented here offers two independent channels, enabling simultaneous charging and discharging processes. This offers more flexibility for parallel tests than the BCS6402. The Variant BCS6402 is designed for higher power (150 W), but only has a single channel.
