Signal emissions from high-speed PCBs (>2 GHz) present a major challenge to design and development engineers. With the EMScanner from YIC Technologies, EMC and EMI-relevant signals in frequency ranges between 150 kHz to 8 GHz can be visualized in real time in order to detect signal emissions and identify their design causes at an early stage.
The EMScanner is a self-contained near-field scanning device and is used in conjunction with a spectrum analyzer. As an alternative to the spectrum analyzer, the compact EMController is available for LAN connection to a desktop PC on which the EMScanner software is running.
The EMScanner offers unique capabilities for reliable pre- and post-EMC compliance testing. During the development process, unintentional sources of interference on boards can be detected to avoid unexpected EMC test results and pass compliance testing. The EMScanner delivers reliable, reproducible test results and can identify design errors within a few seconds. Corresponding design changes, e.g. B. additionally soldered block capacitors, and their effectiveness can be seen in real time.
The spectrum analyzer is an indispensable piece of measuring equipment in development, production or quality assurance. ...
