From Bern to Nuremberg: dataTec Showcases Testing and Measurement Technology This autumn

This autumn, dataTec AG will be present at several leading trade fairs to engage with industry professionals on the latest trends and developments in testing and measurement technology. dataTec experts will be available in person to discuss current measurement challenges and answer questions.

The season kicks off with SINDEX in Bern, taking place September 2–4, 2025 – Switzerland’s leading trade fair for industrial automation. “The increasing digitalization and automation of testing and measurement processes, as well as topics such as modular test systems, remote access, intelligent data analysis, and energy-efficient power supplies, are becoming ever more important – whether in R&D or industrial manufacturing,” explains Marco Pompa, Managing Director of dataTec Switzerland. His team in Bern will present a broad product portfolio along with application-oriented consulting to demonstrate solutions that help companies prepare for the future.

In addition to trade fair appearances, dataTec is setting its own highlights this year. On September 25, 2025, the company will host the very first dataTec Innovation Day in Stuttgart. The event will feature an accompanying exhibition where leading manufacturers and dataTec experts will present the latest technologies and applications in a hands-on setting. A special highlight will be the keynote by Dr. Hubert Zitt: “Star Trek Meets Test and Measurement Technology.” The day will also feature an extensive conference program with 25 technical presentations. Attendees can tailor their experience by choosing between four thematic hubs:

  • Power (AC/DC Power Supplies & Data Loggers): From realistic grid simulations to battery and cell testing, to programmable power supplies for aerospace, energy, and automotive. Here, everything revolves around high performance power supply technology, data logging, and test bench integration.
  • Electronic Measurement and Testing Technology: Thermography in theory and practice, e Mobility standards testing, industry standard multimeters, or end of line (EOL) testers for production and quality assurance – this hub consolidates solutions for reliable measurements across the entire product lifecycle.
  • High-End Measurement Technology: Modern oscilloscopes, signal and network analyzers, stability testing methods for DC/DC converters, and high-speed data analysis techniques — ideal for professionals working with highly demanding measurement technology.
  • Modular Measurement Technology: From NI Hardware & Software to LabVIEW & Python, through Test Automation, No-Code Tools, and Data Analysis & Management. Participants will see how to design efficient and flexible test systems.

Later in the year, visitors will have another opportunity to experience dataTec’s solutions live at the SPS in Nuremberg, November 25–27, 2025. As one of the leading trade fairs for industrial automation, SPS covers the full spectrum of smart and digital automation. “A visit to the dataTec booth is well worth it – this is where innovation and the latest technologies come together to address today’s and tomorrow’s test challenges,” emphasizes Markus Kohler, CEO of dataTec AG. “We warmly invite all interested professionals to meet us at these events, benefit from direct exchange, and explore practical applications.”
