In cooperation with the manufacturer Pico Technology, dataTec sponsors a measuring device for Team Sonnenwagen Aachen. Rainer Drobez, sales representative at dataTec, hands over the USB oscilloscope to three of the members of Team Sonnenwagen, Christopher Herget, Lennart Moltrecht and Jennifer Machura (from left to right).
Behind Team Sonnenwagen Aachen is the Sonnenwagen Aachen e.V. association, which was founded by students at RWTH Aachen University. Together they develop and build a solar-powered electric vehicle with which they took part in the World Solar Challenge in Australia for the first time last year. Team Sonnenwagen returned as one of the best newcomers.
The result spurs the budding engineers on to further develop their solar car and improve it in terms of mechanics and aerodynamics in order to compete again in the World Solar Challenge in 2019.
