Smart Measurement Technology as a Key to Automation.
At SPS 2025 in Nuremberg, dataTec AG will showcase innovative solutions in electronic test and measurement technology for the automation industry. Under the motto “Bring your challenge – we’ll find the solution together,” the company invites visitors to engage in technical discussions on efficiency, quality, and smart measurement technology.
From November 25 to 27, dataTec AG will exhibit at SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg. In Hall 7A, Booth 510, the experts in measurement and test technology will present solutions specifically tailored to the requirements of the modern automation industry. “The automation sector is undergoing a period of change. Processes, systems, and test setups are becoming increasingly digitally networked and data-driven. Measurement technology plays a central role in this, because without precise and reproducible measurement data, any form of intelligent automation remains incomplete,” says Jörg Scholl, Sales Manager Electronic Measurement and Test Technology at dataTec. “At SPS, we will show how these technologies can already be integrated into industrial applications today and what potential they offer for the future.”
A key focus of this year’s trade fair appearance is on solutions for predictive maintenance. dataTec will present, among other things, the new FLIR i65 thermal imaging camera, which can be operated via app and has been developed for thermographic condition monitoring in electrical and mechanical systems. The portfolio is supplemented by acoustic cameras for predictive maintenance, which precisely locate leaks, compressed air losses, and partial discharges using acoustic imaging. Also on display at the booth are the new MXO 3 oscilloscope from Rohde & Schwarz, the S6700U series from SPS electronic for multifunctional safety tests, as well as portable measuring systems and power analyzers for energy efficiency analyses.
Under the motto “Bring your problem – we’ll find the solution together,” dataTec invites visitors to engage in professional dialogue at the booth. The focus is on issues relating to increasing efficiency in test processes, integrating smart measurement technology into existing production lines, and ensuring quality through modern analysis tools. “As a link between manufacturers, system integrators, and end users, we see ourselves not only as a supplier but as a technical partner,” emphasizes Scholl. In addition to consulting and product distribution, dataTec offers application support in hardware and software. The range is supplemented by practical seminars and training courses through the dataTec Academy.
With its new partnership with Cinergia, dataTec is expanding its expertise in the field of regenerative power and energy test systems. Although the products will not yet be shown at this year’s SPS, they are already available for consultation and will form an important part of the company’s future portfolio in energy and drive technology.
