Beim Iprober520 von Aim TTi handelt es sich um eine sehr kompakte und vollisolierte Prüfspitze, die zum Anschluss an ein Oszilloskop gedacht ist.

Um den Strom einer Leiterbahn darzustellen, muss man nur die Spitze der Prüfspitze auf die Leiterbahn aufsetzen. Hierzu muss eben nicht wie bei konventionellen Messverfahren die stromführende Leitung aufgetrennt werden. Ströme werden mit einer Bandbreite von bis zu 5 MHz erfasst. Die Messbereiche für Vollausschlag reichen von 10 mA bis hin zu 20 A. Die Prüfspitze entspricht der Sicherheitsklasse 300 V Cat II (600 V Cat I).
