The robust VT8-1000 current clamp is a high-quality measuring device for voltage, continuity and current. The VT8-1000 is characterized by the protection class CAT III-1000 V / CAT IV-600 V and supports the measuring ranges 200 A / 1,000 V. The FLIR VT8 series also includes the VT8-600 current probe. This is characterized by the protection class CAT III-600 V / CAT IV-300 V and supports the measuring ranges 100 A / 600 V. The measuring devices of the VT8 series are equipped with an optimized current clamp that works even in confined spaces and on thick cables .
