The Teledyne FLIR A8581 InSb thermal imaging camera provides high-resolution thermal imaging for industrial, military, research and development applications. With a 1.3 megapixel detector, this camera delivers sharp images and enables precise temperature measurements up to 3,000 °C through the integrated four-position warm filter wheel.

In addition to manual focus and microscope lens options, the A8581 also supports motorized focus lenses that allow for optimal focusing and maximum number of measurement pixels on the test object. Easy connectivity via Gigabit Ethernet or CoaXPress allows full camera control and data acquisition using FLIR Research Studio software, ensuring fast data analysis and processing.

Advanced features for optimal flexibility:

  • Automatic and remote focus functions of the motorized lenses
  • Integrated four-position filter wheel for effortless measurement of high temperatures
  • Advanced triggering and synchronization functions

Excellent resolution and measurement accuracy:

  • 1.3-megapixel thermal images with a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels
  • Thermal changes up to <30 mK detectable, measurement accuracy over ±2 %
  • Choice of lenses to maximize the number of measurement pixels
  • Precise temperature measurements on small objects with microscope lenses (spatial resolution up to 4 μm/pixel)
