A8583 | InSb thermal imaging camera (3.0 - 5.0µm), 1280x1024px, f/4.0, 44Hz GigE / 60Hz CXP

The Teledyne FLIR A8583 InSb thermal imaging camera offers first-class thermal imaging for industrial, military and R&D applications. Equipped with a 1.3 megapixel detector, it delivers high-resolution, razor-sharp images. The integrated four-position hot filter wheel enables temperature measurements up to 3,000 °C.

In addition to manual focus and microscope lens options, the A8583 also supports motorized focus lenses to optimize focusing and maximize the number of measurement pixels. Full camera control and data acquisition with FLIR Research Studio software is possible via Gigabit Ethernet or CoaXPress, allowing fast data analysis.

Advanced features for optimal flexibility:

  • Automatic and remote focus functions of the motorized lenses
  • Integrated four-position filter wheel for effortless measurement of high temperatures
  • Advanced triggering and synchronization functions

Excellent resolution and measurement accuracy:

  • 1.3-megapixel thermal images with a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels
  • Detection of thermal changes up to <30 mK, measurement accuracy over ±2 %
  • Choice of lenses to maximize the number of measurement pixels
  • Precise temperature measurements on small objects with microscope lenses (spatial resolution up to 4 μm/pixel)

Easy data analysis, transfer and collaboration:

  • Control all camera parameters and stream fully radiometric thermal imaging data via Gigabit Ethernet and CoaXPress
