226539 | Glass fiber microscope for inspection of the connector end surface

When checking fiber optic lines, as before each time the fiber optic connector is plugged in, a check and evaluation of the connector surfaces should be carried out to prevent dirt from influencing the quality of the transmission or destroying the contact surface. With the new glass fiber microscope, the connector end surfaces can be checked quickly and easily and subjected to an automatic evaluation according to IEC 61300-3-35.

Thanks to the USB connection, the microscope can be connected to the WireXpert or the FiberXpert without any problems and the appropriate evaluation of the connector end surfaces can be added to the measurement protocols.
