The NI PXIe-1090 PXI chassis is the most compact and affordable chassis in the PXIe range. Up to now, NI has not produced a cheaper PXI chassis - but it doesn’t skimp on functionality!
Like the PXIe-1083, the PXIe-1090 chassis has an MXIe Thunderbolt 3 controller instead of PCIe. The PXIe-1090 chassis offers you the flexibility, performance and connectivity you are used to from PXI products, but is also easier to transport.
You can set up the chassis both horizontally and vertically due to its compact dimensions. This gives you more freedom in application.
The 2 slots - a hybrid and a PXIe slot - offer you different connectivity options. The PXIe-1090 has a fully hybrid-compatible backplane, enormous bandwidth and 58 W power and cooling capacity. It is therefore suitable for high-performance testing and measuring applications.
Note: Thunderbolt is a trademark of Intel Corporation and its subsidiaries. With the MXIe Thunderbolt 3 controller, NI continues to rely on the existing partner network for the PXIe-1090 PXI chassis in order to meet the high quality requirements.
When you decide on new measuring or testing technology, you want to be sure that you are making the right decision. That's why we not only provide you with comprehensive consultation, but also offer a wide range of training courses. Whether online, at our premises in Reutlingen or exclusively for your company.
