The cRIO-9055 is a rugged, ready-to-use controller for data acquisition, control and regulation applications. It has an Intel Atom dual-core processor, an Artix-7 FPGA and four slots for modules of the C series. The installed NI Linux Real-Time operating system grants access to the I / O through NI-DAQmx drivers or the LabVIEW FPGA module. The controller enables precise, synchronized timing and deterministic communication over the network using TSN, making it ideal for distributed measurement, control and regulation applications. The controller has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 3.1 host port, a USB 2.0 device port, a trigger line and a slot for microSD cards for local data storage. The registered trademark Linux® is used pursuant to a sublicense from LMI, the exclusive licensee of Linus Torvalds, owner of the mark on a worldwide basis.
