The PXIe-1092 features a high bandwidth backplane and up to 82W of power and cooling in each slot to meet the needs of demanding test and measurement applications. The full hybrid backplane offers outstanding flexibility for the arrangement of measurement modules, as it accepts PXI Express modules in each slot as well as PXI hybrid compatible modules in up to seven slots. The chassis also offers an option for timing and synchronization in the form of an integrated temperature-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), which increases the clock accuracy and enables the routing of external clocks and triggers. The chassis includes a peripheral expansion slot on slot 10 to provide power for modules that occupy multiple slots.
