The NI PXIe-5160 is a powerful, modular, high-speed oscilloscope designed for the precise acquisition, analysis, and processing of electrical signals. With an analog bandwidth of up to 500 MHz, a maximum sampling rate of 2.5 GS/s, and a vertical resolution of 10 bits, it is suitable for demanding measurement tasks in research, development, electronics testing, and industrial test automation.

Thanks to its PXI Express interface, the oscilloscope can be integrated into modular PXI measurement systems. Flexible settings for input coupling, voltage ranges, and signal filtering allow it to be adapted to various measurement requirements. The precise trigger circuit supports the reliable capture of fast and complex signal waveforms. In addition, PXI-based synchronization functions and support for peer-to-peer streaming enable the efficient processing and transmission of large amounts of measurement data.

Typical applications include the development and validation of electronic circuits, the analysis of high-frequency and transient signals, automated functional tests, and the investigation of digital and analog signal waveforms. The PXIe-5160 is also suitable for synchronized multichannel measurements and the construction of scalable test and measurement systems. Integration with NI software environments such as LabVIEW and InstrumentStudio simplifies the configuration, visualization, and automation of measurement sequences.
