The PXIe-8430/8 module is a powerful interface for high-speed communication with RS-232 devices. The module offers data transfers via the high-speed DMA interface, multithreading and multiprocessor support. The serial interfaces from NI appear as standard COM ports so that they are compatible with programs that use serial communication.
