RF3MINI | Near-field probe set RF3 mini set, 30 MHz up to 3 GHz

The RF3 mini set contains two passive magnetic field probes for measuring magnetic fields during development with a resolution of less than one millimeter in the range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz on electronic assemblies.

The probes have special miniature heads that were designed for detailed magnetic field and interference current measurements in the layout and on components. The field orientation and field distribution on the electronics assembly can be determined by guiding the near-field probes accordingly.

The near-field probes are small and handy. They have sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. The near-field probes are connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. The probes do not have an internal 50 Ω terminating resistor. It is recommended to operate the passive probes with the 20 dB or 30 dB preamplifier.
