The U8481A power measuring head belongs to the series of U8480 RF power sensors that can be connected directly via the USB interface of a PC. In this way, the HF power can be measured without additional power measuring devices. The U8481A has a dynamic range from +20 dBm to -35 dBm. The measuring principle is a thermocouple that precisely measures the RF power consumed in the frequency range 10 MHz to 18 GHz with a linearity of 0.8% over the entire dynamic range at an ambient temperature range of 0 ° C to 55 ° C. Option 200 extends the measuring frequency range from DC to 18 GHz.
The power sensor was designed to calibrate signal sources, network analyzers and power reference sources. It can also be used in the area of EMC measurements and calibrations.
The external trigger can be used to trigger very small signals that are close to the noise level. The connection is made using the supplied BNC / SMB cable.
The included BenchVue software (30-day test version) displays the measured values on the PC.
When you purchase this new device, you will now receive a "Node-Locked" license for the Keysight measurement and analysis app BenchVue Basic for power meters BV0007B free of charge . This is limited to the specific device. The license is not limited in time.
On the Keysight website you will find further information on downloading, registering and activating your BenchVue license: To the Keysight website.
