Higher precision meets a wider range. With an expanded real-time bandwidth of up to 100 MHz, the high-frequency analyzer N9915B complements the established generation of FieldFox combi analyzers up to 26.5 GHz. The new B-series was specially developed for measurement applications in the areas 5G, 4G and RADAR. The particularly large analysis bandwidth of 40 and 100 MHz supports I / Q analysis, noise factor measurement, real-time spectrum analysis, analog demodulation and over-the-air measurement for 5G and LTE signals. The FieldFox N9915B combines the measuring functions of spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer and cable and antenna analyzer as the handiest device of its kind.

5G is changing digital communication in an unprecedented way - regardless of industry, from person to person, from machine to machine, from person to machine. Industry 4.0 becomes a reality. In addition to commercial communication, 5G will also have a major impact on the military environment due to its larger capacities, quasi-delay-free sensors and extremely high speeds. The focus is on larger bandwidths, higher frequencies and optimized, active antenna systems such as B. Phased array antennas. The goal is to increase network speed and latency.

Whether for 5G, satellite applications or radar systems in the automotive sector: the further developed B series of FieldFox combination analyzers meets the new measurement requirements with regard to dynamics, real-time bandwidth and frequency coverage. When developing and maintaining appropriate networks, even the shortest signal propagation times can be precisely recorded in order to identify faults or to optimize phased array antennas to the desired signal coverage. With an additional down converter, the FieldFox models can be easily expanded up to 110 GHz. The established handheld analyzer supports over 20 important high-frequency device functions, including as a signal analyzer, full 2-port vector network analyzer, real-time spectrum analyzer, over-the-air demodulator, CW signal source and power meter.
