N5166B | CXG RF vector signal generator, frequency range 9 kHz to 3 GHz / 6 GHz

The Keysight N5166B CXG high frequency signal generator is available with a frequency range up to 3 or 6 GHz, so you can perform basic parametric component tests and functional tests of RF receivers. The vector signal generator offers a built-in I / Q modulator for upconverting complex modulation formats such as QPSK and 1024QAM. Test your device under test with standard-compliant reference signals and carry out defined, non-standard-compliant stress tests to ensure that your design meets the latest standards.

Engineers for IoT design validation need an economical and versatile test and measurement system that supports modern radio standards and enables highly efficient RF receiver tests. With the RF signal generator N5166B CXG, Keysight has developed a cost-effective instrument for multifunctional signal generation, with which you can carry out and accelerate your validation tests within budget.

The technical specifications of the CXG and CXA complement each other perfectly, so that in combination with both devices you have not only a particularly powerful, but also a very economical measuring system.

Configuration help:

Frequency range options: Choose between the two frequency ranges 9 KHz to 3 GHz (option 503) or 9 kHz to 6 GHz (option 506).
Bandwidth & memory depth options: Choose your bandwidth (60 or 120 MHz) and memory depth (32 or 512 MSa). An upgrade is possible in each case.
License options curve playback: The Signal Studio application software is available as a free download. Additional license options are available for offline playback of the signal curves and for generating the desired vector signals.
Device equipment options: Select additional device functions such as AM, FM, phase modulation, narrow-pulse modulation, multi-function generator, internal SSD (Solid State Drive), flexible reference input.
