B2983C | Femto-/Picoammeter, 0.01 fA, Battery Operated

The Keysight B2980C Series comprises high-performance femto-/picoammeters and electrometers specifically designed for precise current measurements in the femtoampere and picoampere range. Thanks to their high resolution of up to 0.01 fA, these instruments enable reliable measurements of even the smallest electrical currents. The integrated graphical user interface supports intuitive analysis of sensitive measurement data.

The instruments in this series combine high-resolution measurement technology with versatile analysis functions. Various graphical representations, such as curve or histogram views, help users quickly identify even very small signal changes. This makes the instruments suitable for both routine testing and demanding research applications.

The Keysight B2980C Series is widely used in semiconductor development, materials science, sensor development, and scientific research. Especially in leakage current measurements, insulation analysis, and sensitive current measurements, the series delivers reliable results. The Keysight B2983C expands the series' capabilities with additional data acquisition performance. Like the B2981C, this model measures currents from 0.01 fA to 20 mA with high precision. Furthermore, it supports a particularly high sampling rate of up to 20,000 measurements per second, making it especially suitable for applications with rapidly changing signals. Compared to the B2981C, the B2983C offers expanded measurement capabilities within the picoammeter category, while the B2985C and B2987C models provide additional electrometer and high-resistance capabilities.
