The Keysight 34950A module (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) offers a total of 64 bidirectional lines, which are organized into 8 channels of 8 bits each. The polarity and the threshold can be set individually between 0 V and 5 V for each of these channels. An integrated memory can record digital signals on the one hand, and emit corresponding signals on the other as a stimulus. The maximum bit pattern rate is 10 MHz. Overall, the module offers a whole range of portocol handshakes to operate a variety of applications.
In addition, the module contains two counters with which events can be counted, frequency, period, duty cycle and pulse width can be measured.
The standard 78-pin Dsub connector can be used to contact normal cables and terminal strips.
