The 6½-digit 34460A digital multimeter with " Truevolt " technology from Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) offers a multitude of measurement options and measured value displays that are unique to a DMM (Digital Multi Meter). "Truevolt" is an innovative, patented A / D converter technology with which external factors such as noise and the load on the measuring point are eliminated by the measurement. The measurement accuracy of 0.0075% thus achieved is unmatched for DMM in this price range Overall, the device provides a balanced balance between measurement resolution, measurement accuracy, linearity and measurement speed.

The multimeter 34460A is a 100% replacement for the quasi-industry standard multimeter 34401A. In 34401A mode, the 34461A multimeter is 100% software compatible with the 34401A multimeter. In addition to the higher accuracy due to Truevolt, the 34460A offers temperature measurements for RTD / PT100 and thermistor sensors.

Keysight defines "DMM" for these Truevolt devices in Display, Measure, Move:

The display , with a diagonal of 109 mm, offers the measured values in a pure number, combination of numbers and bars, histogram, statistics and in a trend display.
Measure : With the patented A / D converter technology, external influences on the measured values are eliminated, e.g. B. noise introduced by the power supply and environmental, injected noise or injected current. When digitally measuring alternating variables using direct sampling technology and A / D conversion, a much faster and more accurate RMS measurement is carried out.
Move : measurement curves - save, display, take away. Easy export of measurement data from one or time-correlated from several devices to an external USB stick, PC or to mobile devices such as a tablet PC or smartphone. Data or display curves can easily be exported to Microsoft Excel, Word or to MATLAB. With freely available software from the Apple App Store, the DMM Mobile Utility software can be downloaded, which can be used to control the devices connected via LAN and to transfer measured values and curves.
