10833G | GPIB cable, 8m IEEE 488, stackable, plug / socket

Cables according to IEEE 488 GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus, 8-bit parallel bus, max. 1 Mbit / s) are used in particular in the field of measurement and control technology and in the industrial environment.

The IEEE 488 GPIB cables are equipped with a stackable plug / socket combination (male + female) on each side and the contacts are 1: 1. With this construction, a used port is still available. The plugs are equipped with knurled screws so that the connection can be secured, which is particularly important in the industrial sector. A total of up to 14 devices can be connected to a GPIB controller (e.g. PCI GPIB plug-in card in a control PC).
