The GPT-9500 series from GW Instek combines three safety tests in one compact device: AC dielectric strength (up to 5 kV), DC dielectric strength (up to 6 kV) and insulation resistance (up to 1 kV). Both models have an integrated 8-channel scanner and comply with common safety standards (e.g. IEC/EN/UL/CSA/GB/JIS). Thanks to the 4.3" color LCD, intuitive key guidance and AUTO mode with tabular result display, test series can be carried out quickly and with minimal errors - ideal for series production, incoming goods and quality laboratories.
The series is designed for routine testing of electronic assemblies and wound goods. Typical applications are:
The Hipot testers are designed in accordance with IEC 61010-2-034 and offer, among other things zero start, interlock connection, post-discharge mechanisms and clearly visible status LEDs. All scanner channels are led out at the rear - this looks clean in the rack and reduces the risk of accidental contact. Interruption detection helps to avoid misjudgments due to torn cables. External control, status queries or data acquisition are easily possible via RS-232C, USB device and a signal I/O.
The GPT-9503 presented here is the model in the series that is specially optimized for high-voltage tests between two points on general components. Its eight test outputs can be switched to H (high) or X (off) per channel. This makes it particularly suitable for components that do not require switching to a low return conductor per channel, such as capacitors, insulators, cables or pre-assembled lines.
GW Instek is a leading manufacturer of advanced and reliable solutions for electronic test and measurement technology, with a focus on ease of use and precision. The portfolio includes oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and digital multimeters for applications in automotive, electronics manufacturing, education, aerospace, and research and development.
