FIBERLERT-125 | FiberLert Live fiber optic detector 850 nm - 1625 nm light signal detector

The Fluke Networks FiberLert is the simple, pocket-sized fiber optic problem solver. Quickly check fiber activity, polarity and connectivity with the live fiber detector. The FiberLert tests singlemode, multimode, UPC and APC patch cables and ports with a contactless / non-contaminating detector.

The LightBeat function causes the LED to flash and indicates that it is switched on and that the battery is good enough. The FiberLert will turn off after five minutes of inactivity to extend battery life.

Product features:

  • Detects optical power in singlemode and multimode fiber optic wavelengths (near infrared range 850 nm to 1625 nm)
  • No setup or interpretation required - light and sound indicate the presence of an optical signal
  • The “non-contact” detector reduces the risk of contamination and damage
  • Suitable for connections and patch cables, SM, MM, UPC and APC connections
  • The LightBeat feature will flash to indicate operation and battery status; turns off after five minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life (2xAAA, included)
