SDL800 | Vibration measuring device with data logger

Vibrations are an early indicator of wear, imbalances or incipient bearing damage. A vibration tester helps to quickly assess the condition of rotating machines, make maintenance plannable and avoid breakdowns. By recording measurement series, trends can be identified, limit values monitored and measurement results clearly documented - ideal for maintenance, service, quality assurance and system operation.

Typical applications include testing and monitoring motors, bearings, fans, pumps and other rotating machinery. Thanks to data acquisition, measured values can later be evaluated on a PC and used for reports or comparative measurements.

Extech SDL800 Vibration Meter/Datalogger

The Extech SDL800 is a vibration meter with SD data logger for convenient long-term recording. Measured values are saved with date/time and stored directly on an SD card in an Excel-compatible format - for quick transfer for PC analysis. The external vibration sensor is connected via a 1.2 m cable and can be securely attached to metallic surfaces using a magnetic adapter. RMS, peak and max hold modes are available for flexible measurements. A large, illuminated LCD ensures good readability even in darker environments.

Practical in everyday use: adjustable sampling rates (1 to 3600 s), MIN/MAX memory, data hold and an auto power-off function (can be deactivated). An offset/zero function supports relative measurements. The device is supplied as a complete set including sensor, magnetic holder, batteries, SD card and robust carrying case.
