The PS2000B laboratory power supply series is very compact in construction, has a practical housing design and a good price-performance ratio. The devices are closed at the top and bottom and have no external heat sinks and are therefore particularly suitable for use in schools and training areas.
Setpoints for voltage, current, overvoltage threshold (OVP) and overcurrent threshold (OCP), as well as the actual values of output voltage and output current are clearly shown on a blue, illuminated LC display. The devices can be used as constant voltage sources or as constant current sources. The output voltage is available at safety sockets on the front.
Current and voltage can be set continuously from 0 to the nominal value, as well as the OCP threshold and OVP threshold from 0 ... 100% of the respective nominal value. The flexible power level either allows the setting of a high output voltage with a low output current or vice versa to always ensure the max. Guarantee output power.
A mini-USB port is integrated as standard on the front, via which the device can be monitored and remotely controlled. This requires Windows software EasyPS2000, which can be purchased separately and requires a fee-based license for each device to be controlled. A suitable USB cable is already included in the scope of delivery.
