Solution for testing wound components: The test points for quality verification of wound components include tests of the AC / DC HiPot, the insulation resistance (IR) and the pulse windings. Chroma integrated the above tests into the 19035 series EST scanners for wound components to perform safety checks for the motor, transformer, and heat-related wound products. Manufacturers of wound components not only receive reliable quality by checking the quality verification, but also control the product quality efficiently.

The 19035 series supports a 5 kVac / 6 kVdc high voltage output to meet strength testing requirements for wound components with a maximum output current of 30 mA. The measuring range for tests of insulation resistance (IR) is between 1 MΩ and 50 GΩ and the output voltage can reach 5 kV. DCR can measure basic specifications for wound components and also test the connection before testing safety strength.

The 19035 series also features powerful breakdown detection and open circuit / short circuit (OSC) functions, as well as programmable parameters for voltage, time, etc. for different DUT functions to increase test reliability and product quality.

Applications

The 19035 is a comprehensive safety tester designed for motor, transformer, heat related wound component requirements. Most of the wound components are provided with multiple windings, such as. B. 3-phase motor, transformer with double winding, etc. Moreover, wound components require a pulse winding tester for high voltage windings to check the no good insulation of the wound device.

The 19035 offers OSC and DCR functions to verify whether there was a faulty contact or a short circuit during the test. It corrects contact problems of wound components in the motor, transformer, etc., so that the test quality improves significantly and the life of the test device is extended.
