The F406 current clamp from the Chauvin Arnoux F400 series is designed for medium power in the low-voltage range and is therefore ideally suited for low-voltage distribution networks, for railway traffic or industrial applications. Thanks to the significantly increased peak value (1,500 A / 1,700 V peak), the current clamp multimeter is ideal for measurements on photovoltaic strings.

The current clamps of the F400 series are characterized by their safety and robust design. Thus, the F406 1000 V CAT IV / 1500 V CAT III conforms to ensure an unprecedented level of safety.

All current clamps of the F400 series work with a 12-bit digital data acquisition according to the TRMS method. This guarantees exact measurement results.

The devices were specially designed for operation with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
