The F404 current clamp from the Chauvin Arnoux F400 series is designed for medium power in the low-voltage range and is therefore ideally suited for low-voltage distribution networks, for railway traffic or industrial applications. Thanks to the significantly increased peak value (1,500 A / 1,700 V peak), the current clamp multimeter is ideal for measurements on photovoltaic strings.

The current clamps of the F400 series are characterized by their safety and robust design. The F404 conforms to 1000 V CAT IV / 1500 V CAT III ensuring an unprecedented level of safety.

All current clamps of the F400 series work with a 12-bit digital data acquisition according to the TRMS method. This guarantees exact measurement results.

The devices were specially designed for operation with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
