The BENNING PV-S 1500 is a professional, particularly safe short-circuit switch for photovoltaic systems up to 1500 V DC. The device was specially developed for commissioning, maintenance and repetitive testing of PV strings and enables precise measurements of open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current and insulation resistance. Thanks to its robust polycarbonate construction and integrated safety functions, the PV-S 1500 is ideal for demanding use on site and in the service sector.
The short-circuit switch enables safe short-circuiting of PV strings up to 23 A at 1500 V and provides measuring points for open-circuit voltage and insulation resistance via its 4 mm safety sockets. Thanks to MC4-compatible plug connections, connection to PV modules and strings is quick, reliable and standard-compliant.
