The BENNING PV 1000 SET is a complete, practical test and measurement set for commissioning and recurring testing of photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V. It combines state-of-the-art measurement technology for voltage, current, insulation and low resistance in a robust, mobile package and meets the requirements of DIN EN 62446-1/-2 (VDE 0126-23-1/-2).

Ideal for installers, service technicians and experts, the set enables complete testing of all safety-relevant PV parameters: open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, insulation resistance and protective conductor resistance. Thanks to the high-quality devices - including the BENNING PV-S 1500 short-circuit switch, the BENNING CM 3-PV current clamp multimeter and the BENNING IT 100 insulation and resistance measuring device - PV strings can be evaluated quickly, safely and reliably.

The BENNING L-Boxx 136 included in the set provides optimum protection for the equipment and makes it easy to transport around the construction site. The BENNING PV 1000 SET therefore offers a complete, professional solution for all measurement tasks relating to modern PV systems.

The BENNING PV 1000 SET is perfect for:

  • Commissioning new photovoltaic systems (standard test in accordance with DIN EN 62446)
  • Repeat tests as part of maintenance and service activities
  • Measurement of the PV-open-circuit voltage (Uoc) up to 1500 V DC
  • Determination of the short-circuit current (Isc) up to 23 A
  • Testing the insulation resistance with 500 V/1000 V test voltage
  • Low-resistance measurement of protective conductors with 200 mA test current
  • Safe short-circuiting of PV-strings up to 1500 V via the PV-S 1500 short-circuit switch
