The PV tester BENNING PV 1-1+ is a further development of the successful installation tester PV 1-1. Compared to its previous version, the 1-1+ has improved test compatibility of the latest technology PV modules with high efficiencies and offers 300% higher protection against transient short-circuit currents.

The Benning PV1-1+ is your faithful companion for commissioning, repeat testing and troubleshooting of PV systems DIN EN 62446 (VDE 0126-23).

Operation is quick and easy using the large, clear buttons.

Product features:

  • Understandable and clear display of all measurement results
  • Safe measurement connection even when the PV system supplies energy
  • Automatic test sequence (open-circuit voltage 1000 V DC, short-circuit current 15 A DC, insulation resistance)
  • Automatic display of voltage polarity with acoustic/visual warning in the event of incorrect polarity
  • Zero adjustment of the measuring lines so that they do not influence the measuring resistance
  • Measured value memory for 200 displays for (automatic) string-to-string comparison including warning in the event of a deviation of 5% of the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current
  • USB interface and download software for creating test reports in MS Excel
  • ISO measurement result with good/bad display
  • Integrated real-time clock for storing measured values with date and time stamp
  • “WirelessSunLink” radio connection to the BENNING SUN 2 irradiation and temperature measuring device
  • Direct connection to all PV modules with MC4 or “Sunclix” connectors
  • Easy to use for network-independent and mobile tests
  • LC display with backlight
  • Automatic shutdown after 60 seconds
  • The test can relate to PV modules or the entire PV system
