University of Stuttgart.
A light press on the accelerator and the racing car takes off. The body is immediately pressed into the seat, the tension increases, the speed and acceleration are an incomparable feeling. Perhaps a bit like riding a rollercoaster. There is no lag during acceleration in the all-electric racing car. Gas means gas.
The GreenTeam at the University of Stuttgart has been developing electric racing cars since 2009 and takes part in the international design competition Formular Student. With close collaboration, inventive spirit and the ambition to be among the best, the team has been ranked in the top ten of the world rankings every year since 2010.
The interest in future technologies, team spirit and ambition to be among the best is what drives us at dataTec every day. And because we want to support the student club and its determination, we have sponsored a power supply unit for the technical development of the racing car in 2021 and 2022. For the future, for success.
Socially committed
Solidarity is needed by all in our society. Especially the smallest ones.
KidsProject – KiSS. Children and young people in particular need our support. That's why dataTec ran the Kids Project for 12 years. The focus was on certified children's sports schools (KiSS) throughout Germany.
More physical activity for children and young people.
What was it about?
Movement is important not just for children's physical development, but also for their mental and psychosocial development. They get to know themselves through play and thus strengthen their self-confidence. Playing with other children also develops social skills, improves motor skills and promotes enjoyment of physical activity.
In the project, dataTec specifically supported certified children's sports schools (KiSS). From 2010 to 2022, we provided more than 30 children's sports schools with T-shirts and sports equipment, and funded larger projects such as soft floor mats, football goals and training equipment. This enabled us to support the associations in their important work.
And now what?
In 2023, we decided to change our focus. We still see a responsibility in the development of children and young people – but more in the promotion of STEM careers. After all, who's to say that one day, with a little support, a curious child won't go down the path of science?
