The Weller WAD 101 hot air station is equipped with digital electronics. This controls the temperature precisely. The built-in microprocessor circuit automatically detects all Weller soldering irons and ensures the optimal settings for the connected tool and the HAP 1 hot air pencil, which is standard on the station.
A wide range of nozzles makes the WAD 101 ideal for many soldering and desoldering applications with surface-mountable components (SMD). The WAD 101 requires a compressed air supply with oil-free, dry compressed air or nitrogen (N2). The ion-free hot air flow of the Pencil HAP 1 is set manually. The Weller WCB 1 or WCB 2 coding boxes can be connected to the WAD 101 for programming additional functions. A PC interface is only possible with the WCB 2.
