Precisely and safely locate underground cables and lines before digging.

Accidentally damaging a utility line during a project can lead to expensive repairs and dangerous public safety situations. Digging in the wrong place creates unnecessary delays and costs for your project and ultimately your business. Avoid such an interruption with the robust and durable Beha-Amprobe UAT-600-EUR series, which was developed for the precise location of underground cables and lines up to 30 m deep.

Functions

  • Using several search modes, you can locate and track live and voltage-free cables in a wide range of applications
  • Determination of faults on a cable
  • Localization of cables and lines with earth faults, sheath faults or coating faults on pipelines where the supply network is in direct contact with the ground
  • Precise determination of the point of failure at which a metallic conductor touches the ground and leakage current occurs, e.g. B. if a shield is corroded or a cable sleeve is damaged, causing a malfunction on the cable

  • The intuitive transmitter automatically selects the appropriate location function based on the connected accessories and including selectable frequencies of 8 and 33 kHz
  • The CAT IV 600 V safety specification ensures safety when working on live cables
  • The semi-automatic gain control recognizes search signals quickly and enables precise adjustment of the sensitivity of the receiver
  • Advanced technology and digital signal processing ensure a fast, precise and clear location process:
    • The numerical error signal strength compass shows the direction of the error
    • Distance-dependent arrow displays to the left and right guide the user along the course of the underground supply line
    • The automatic gain control quickly recognizes the search signal and precisely adjusts the sensitivity of the A-frame
    • Adjustable volume control

  • The high-contrast display of the receiver is easy to read in full sunlight and has an automatic backlight for shady and dark areas
  • Line search up to 30 m deep, precise depth measurement up to 6 m
  • Robust and durable construction: Dust and splash-proof according to protection class IP 54 and drop-tested up to 1 m
  • Location of sheath faults / earth faults with the optional A-frame
