This IP69k stainless steel protective housing is specifically designed for the FLIR A50/A70 thermal imaging cameras. The housing is designed according to EHEDG standards. The housing is made of A316L stainless steel, electropolished to Ra <0.8 µm, and all seals are made of FDA-certified material. The accuracy of the camera inside the protective housing remains within standard specifications thanks to the radiometric formulas developed by FLIR.
Note: The germanium window blocks the visual camera. The germanium used is a crystalline material and not approved for use near food. For use in food processes, it is recommended to perform an application-specific risk analysis according to local regulations and guidelines.
